We’ve covered some of many activities for you. You just need to choose and enjoy your time during the remaining days of school holidays.
Waterfalls and Rock Pools
With different sceneries and magical waterfalls, visit one of the natural beauty on the Sunshine Coast. It might be hard to choose but whichever you choose, you will not be disappointed: Kondalilla Falls, Gardners Falls, Mapleton Falls, Buderim Falls. Walk, have a picnic, relax, enjoy various lookouts, sceneries and animals, swim. Whatever you do, we are sure you will make the most of it.
For the rock pools, you can visit Caloundra or Mooloolaba or maybe both?
National Parks and Reserves
Do koala spotting at Noosa National Park, visit new and innovative Discovery Centre at Mary Cairncross Reserve with 55-hectare of subtropical rainforest with spectacular trails. Both are just amazing places with great atmosphere!
Noosa Botanic Gardens offer 8 hectares of gardens by the lake with walkways, lily pond, Greek amphitheatre. Or you can visit Maroochy Bushland Botanic Garden in Tanawha with magnificent botanic garden with numerous walks e.g. bushland, sculpture, creek, suculent, lagoon walk and many more. Admission to both gardens is free.
Enjoy holiday fun at Australia Zoo, Beerwah. With many animals from small to big, you will for sure not be bored. You can also get involved in Robert’s treasure hunt or in laser tag in an inflatable maze, which will be running until 15th of April.
How about free imagination entertainment? No, you are not imaging it! There will be a free show to amaze your kids: The Willy Wonker Show at Ginger Factory. There will be two shows daily: 9.30am and 11am. You can enjoy some shopping, cafe, kids play areas, rainforest, ginger train, factory tours & tastings and much more.
Playgrounds and various activities
Visit Pioneer Park at Landsborough or Blue Park at Bells Reach, which are just fantastic places for your kids to burn some of their energy. They will appreciate creativity of these places and facilities, which are for the whole family to enjoy.
Do your kids love water? Then Aqua Fun Park Twin Waters might be a great adventure for them.
What about trampoline? Big Boing at Birtinya: see these amazing indoor trampolines (over 70 of them!) from 2.5 years old up to any age.
Want some adrenaline? What about Rockit Climbing Gym at Warana (with 21 unique walls to climb) or Adventure Empire at Caloundra (indoor climbing for the whole family)?
